Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Peaches (peaches.chat) stores, what leaves your device, and how to have it deleted. Peaches is an adults-only (18+) service and is not directed to anyone under 18.

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, we set no advertising cookies, and we do not read your conversations to build a profile of you.
Where your data lives
Peaches works through the mechanisms below and no others. Each one is described with exactly what it holds.
1. Your browser (local storage)
Almost everything about your use of Peaches stays on your own device, in your browser's local storage for peaches.chat: your age confirmation, the email address and handle you enter at sign-up, your Petal balance and subscription status, the characters you create, your chats, the list of media you generate, and your preferences. This data never leaves your device except as described in sections 2 to 7. Clearing site data for peaches.chat, or choosing Delete account in Settings, removes all of it.
2. The usage beacon
So that we can tell whether the site works and which advertising pays for itself, the app sends short usage events to our server. Each event carries:
- a random visitor identifier that the app creates and stores in your browser (it is not derived from you or your device);
- the screen or step you reached (for example "explore", "signup", "checkout");
- at checkout, the plan and price chosen and, once a purchase completes, the card brand and last four digits only, never the card number;
- if you arrived from an advertisement, the ad network's click, campaign and placement identifiers.
When an event arrives, our server adds your browser's user-agent string and the country your connection resolves to. We do not store your IP address, your name, your email address, or any chat text in these events.
3. Generating replies, images and voice
When you send a chat message, ask for an image or voice clip, or create a character, the text you write and the recent part of that conversation are sent to our server, which passes them to the AI model providers that generate the result and returns it to you. Chat replies are generated through OpenRouter and the model hosts it routes to; we only use hosts that do not store or train on the text they receive. Images, voice messages, and the short scene descriptions used for in-chat images are generated by Venice.ai, and every generated image is checked by automated vision models (on Venice.ai and on Cloudflare Workers AI) before it is shown to you. Videos are not generated. These providers process the request to return a result and handle it under their own terms. We do not sell this text, we do not use it to train models, and our server does not keep chat messages, prompts or generated media after the result is returned, except as described in section 4.
4. Safety screening and the moderation log
Everything you write, and every reply generated for you, is screened on our server before it is shown, by rule-based filters and by AI safety models that run on our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and through OpenRouter. So that a rule still applies later in a long conversation, the server keeps a short safety note for each chat session (for example, that a pet or a relative was mentioned), never the conversation itself. If a request is refused under our Content Policy, we keep a record of the refusal: the time, the part of the Service, the category, your random visitor identifier and chat session identifier, the country your connection resolves to, and the first 160 characters of the refused text. This log is how we enforce our rules and is available to our payment partners on request. Safety notes are kept with the session identifier for as long as the moderation log. To limit abuse and cost, our server also counts requests per visitor identifier and per connection; connections are recorded only as a one-way hash, never as an IP address.
5. The payment processor
Card details you enter at checkout are handled by our third-party payment processor under its own privacy policy and PCI rules. We never receive or store your full card number. We receive the result of the transaction, the card brand and last four digits, and a reference we use to find the charge when you contact support or ask for a refund.
6. Email support
When you write to support@peaches.chat we keep the correspondence for as long as we need it to handle your request and to keep the billing records the law requires.
7. The report form
If you use our report form, we keep what you enter (the type of report, where the content is, your description, and your email address and name if you give them) together with the time and country of the connection, to handle the report and to keep the records our policies and payment partners require. The connection is recorded only as a one-way hash, used to limit abuse.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for and do not want your real name, postal address, phone number, or government ID. We set two functional cookies and no others: one records that you confirmed you are 18 or older, and one records access past our regional age-verification block when a reviewer link is used. Everything else uses local storage. There are no third-party analytics scripts, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies on peaches.chat.
How it is used
To run the Service on your device; to take payment, manage renewals, and handle refunds; to measure advertising performance in aggregate; to detect fraud and chargeback abuse; to answer support requests; and to comply with legal obligations.
Who it is shared with
- Payment processor: to take payment and manage your subscription.
- Hosting provider (Cloudflare): the infrastructure that serves the site, runs the safety screening, and stores the beacon events, the moderation log and reports.
- AI model providers (OpenRouter and the hosts it routes to; Venice.ai): to generate chat replies, images and voice messages and to check generated images, as described in section 3.
We may disclose information where legally required, or to protect the safety of a person or the integrity of the Service. Otherwise, no.
Retention
Data in your browser stays until you clear it or delete your account. Beacon events are kept for as long as we need them to measure campaigns and to answer fraud and chargeback enquiries, then deleted. The moderation log and reports are kept for as long as our payment partners and the law require us to be able to show how content was handled. Payment references and support correspondence are kept for the period tax and accounting law requires.
Deletion and your rights
Choose Delete account in Settings: it clears everything Peaches stores in your browser and opens an email to support@peaches.chat so we can delete the beacon events tied to your visitor identifier and any support correspondence. Records of refused requests and reports may be kept where we need them to show how content was handled. You can also email us directly from your account email address. We complete deletion within 30 days and confirm by email, keeping only the minimum billing records required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Exercise any of these by email. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. Card data is handled by the payment processor and never touches our systems. Access to the beacon store, the moderation log and reports is restricted to the operator.
Children
The Service is strictly 18+, is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor we terminate it and delete the associated data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
